The Alberta Choral Federation is pleased to announce the addition of Choir 201 and 202 to the Choir 101 Workshop Series!

CHOIR 201

A half-day workshop for choristers with some experience.  Explores important aspects of music theory and equips choristers with tools to improve their sight-reading ability. There is no vocal technique component to this workshop but teaching will be through participatory learning so come ready to sing!

CHOIR 202

A 3 hour voice workshop designed for choristers who have sung in a choir for at least one year. A review of vocal fundamentals will be followed by an exploration of more complex aspects of vocal production including singing in extreme registers, diction, singing authentically in different styles, intonation, and mastering the voice's entire dynamic capability.

Choir 201 and 202 will be offered in Yellowknife this January!
